Yair is admitted to both the New York Bar and the Israeli Bar Association. Before returning to Israel at the end of 2008, Yair has worked for 10 years as a lawyer partner and head of department in a large New York law firm.
 
During the 10 years in which Yair has worked in the U.S., he advised hundreds of clients in U.S. and cross-border transactions, including: Mergers and Acquisitions (“M&A”), various financing transactions, including Private Equity Financing, Initial Public Offerings (“IPO”) and Secondary Offering, Debt Financing and more. In addition, he represented many public companies traded on a U.S. stock exchange or listing (NASDAQ, NYSE and the OTC Bulletin Board) in all of their disclosure and reporting requirements to the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission (“SEC”) and the various stock exchanges, Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance and more.
 
Yair is fluent in both the U.S. and the Israeli legal systems and has ample experience in representing Israeli companies and entrepreneurs who wish to establish their business and operation in the U.S., as well as advising U.S. and other international companies operating in Israel.
 
Yair specializes in advising Israeli companies and entrepreneurs from various industries (software, IT, traditional industry, infrastructure, agro-tech, clean-tech, food and more) who wish to establish or expand their business and operations in the U.S. in various ways, including: establishing a subsidiary, partnership, joint venture (“JV”), mergers and acquisitions, negotiating and drafting marketing and distribution agreements, license agreements, joint-development agreements and more.
 
In addition, Yair has many years of experience in advising both foreign and Israeli clients on Israeli corporate and commercial law matters, has represented  many technology companies as well traditional industry companies in Mergers and Acquisitions, Financing Transactions, Corporate Matters and various Commercial Agreements.
 
Yair, who was born and raised in Kibbutz Givat Haim Ihud, is a renowned expert in the business activities of kibbutz-owned companies and for many years has represented dozens of companies owned by kibbutzim and moshavim in all of their legal needs both in Israel and in the U.S. Yair also serves as a director in a number of kibbutz companies and as a member of the kibbutz management committee.
